CFA certification is issued by the CFA Institute, USA. It is a 75-year-old certification acceptable for Finance Careers & investment sector jobs in more than 170+ countries.
Eligibility Criteria
If you are pursuing a 3 year undergraduate program you can appear for CFA Level 1 after 1st year of college (preparations start after 12th), for CFA Level 2 after 2nd year of college and CFA Level 3 post graduation.

Duration

Yes, the CFA Advance program is designed specifically for students who are currently in college or have just completed 12th standard. It has two stages:

Foundation Stage: Covers CFA subjects with around four hours of study daily, manageable with college.

Advanced Stage: The initial six months require similar effort. In the final four to five months, effort increases slightly up to 7-9hrs daily for intensive practical training to prepare you for top finance roles.

Yes. In the first six months, you will cover 6–7 CFA subjects as part of your base modules. Two-Three months before your CFA Level 1 attempt, the remaining subjects are taught with extensive question practice, tests, and mock papers. Candidates clearing both base and advanced stages with a minimum of 60% in each module remain eligible for placements, irrespective of their CFA results.
You can reattempt CFA Level 1 training at Finnacle without any additional training charge.Yes. CFA advanced training graduates start working post CFA Level 1 and they attend training for CFA Level 2 on weekends. It is a standard market practice to work while preparing for CFA Level 2 and Level 3.
You can repeat the program once free of charge to remain eligible for placements with only an application charge of ₹5,000 applicable for the repeat attempt. You are allowed up to two attempts per stage (Foundation stage and Advance Stage). If you do not clear the base stage, you may reappear and proceed to the advanced stage upon passing. In the advanced stage, you may retake it once if you fail in a module. Please note the repeat chance is per stage not per module.

Under CFA advance training on clearing the program with a minimum of score 60% in all modules you undergo 9–12 months of paid industrial training and completion of Industrial training your are offered Pre-placement offer by the same recruiter running between INR 8 -13 lakhs Per Annum. We take full end to end responsibility of full time placement hence If any recruiter lets go of the candidate at the end of Internship due to organizational constraints and not owing to any performance issue, our placement team takes additional efforts to place these young trainees on full time roles with another recruiter without compromising on our campus packages and Job profiles.
